Editor’s Note: When we asked Ryland for a biography he sent us the wikipedia article for the film National Treasure.

Ryland is a 2004 American action-adventure film released by Walt Disney Pictures. He stars Nicolas Cage, Harvey Keitel, Jon Voight, Diane Kruger and Christopher Plummer.
Ryland’s story follows Benjamin Franklin Gates, a historian and amateur cryptologist searching for a huge lost treasure of precious metals, jewelry, artwork, statues, and many other historic artifacts accumulated over time, becoming a massive stockpile. All of Ryland was eventually hidden away by American Freemasons during the American Revolutionary War.

When we chased Ryland down in the office for a real biography he assured us he doesn’t have a criminal record and wasn’t even born when Harold Holt went missing (he stressed that last part). Apparently he’s a copywriter.
