Helping Victorians to be present at Christmas time
Christmas is the most dangerous period on our roads. Together with the Transport Accident Commission (TAC), we asked Victorians to share messages of hope to encourage us all to play our part in making this Christmas a safe and happy one.
Following 2018’s successful installation designed in collaboration with Ash Keating, Taboo’s graphic artist and Creative Director, Matt Heays, hand drew a complex and immersive mural to wrap the activation and entice viewers into the work via a host of iconic landmarks, people and moments from across Victoria. Positive messages were integrated throughout the work and illustration elements were connected through a network of paths, roads and highways. The AR enabled mural allowed visitors to unlock animated stories and facts and share them with loved ones. The illustration was integrated into all aspects of the campaign including the ribbon designs to accompany the commitment messages, sourced from real Victorians.
