It’s not a black mirror episode – it’s real, and it’s how we caused a stir for Pause Fest 2018.
Pause Fest – Australia’s leading innovation and creative tech festival in Asia Pacific – briefed Taboo to create a campaign to launch its ticket sales for the 2018 festival.
We implanted microchip tickets into the hands of selected leaders and influencers in the tech, business, and creative industries, which provided them a VIP all-access, three-day pass and allowed them to tap a series of NFC readers throughout the event.
The ‘injection sessions’ were filmed in front of a hoard of brave media and within hours, those who hadn’t fainted had shared the story with the country and the globe.
