Pause Fest – Injectables

Brief

In partnership with Pause, Taboo were briefed to create a ticket sales strategy and help launch the ticket sales for Pause Fest 2018, Australia’s leading innovation and creative tech festival in Asia Pacific.

What We Did

To create some controversy, we implanted microchip-form tickets into the hands of selected leaders in tech, business and creative industries, with an all-access, three-day VIP pass into the festival. The world-first campaign not only brought global awareness to the festival but also set the standard for the level of innovation to expect from Pause Fest.

Results

Tickets for the festival sold out. The story was picked up Forbes, The Project, The Guardian, Herald Sun, TNW, ABC News, PSFK, Smart Company and featured on Weekend Sunrise.
