Breaking breakfast boredom both on the shelf and in the kitchen
When Hummingbird decided to enter the cluttered cereal category, they tasked Taboo to create a packaging concept that extended the brand’s cheerful, fun, approach to design that we’d developed for them for their launch.
We created clean, colourful design in a packaging shape that broke convention and stuck out from all the other breakfasty brands – using a strong, fun and fashionable illustration style inspired by minimal Japanese packaging and patterns, unique to each SKU.
The Porridge range sold over 1,000 units within 3 weeks of launch.
