Live, Loud & Local

World Wide Watering-hole

Summary

When the COVID – induced lockdown hit in early 2020, it impacted two Australian industries more than any other: hospitality and the arts. Partnering with Coopers, we created Live, Loud & Local to support local pubs and homegrown artists.

Live, Loud & Local kept the spirit of the Aussie pub alive by championing venues around the country, showcasing homegrown music acts and featuring our favourite chefs cooking DIY pub-grub. Hosted by music legend Myf Warhurst and comedian Joel Creasey, we beamed all the best and most dearly missed parts of Australian pub life into homes every Friday and Saturday night for five weeks straight. It quickly grew to become Australia’s biggest virtual pub, and Coopers became the most talked about beer on the internet.

Conceived and executed within three weeks, Live, Loud & Local was produced whilst social distancing, hand sanitizing and coughing into our elbows. You can re-live all the action and watch every episode at coopersocal.com.au.
